About Casa Olivia
Casa Olivia is a modern luxury air-conditioned villa.
The villa comprises of: Lounge with twin leather sofas, UK Satellite Freeview TV including BBC/ITV, DVD, CD/radio, IPod docking station, free unlimited Internet/WI-FI access. Kitchen with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave. The kitchen leads to the external dining area with large marble table and seating. There is also a utility area with washing machine.
The lounge leads through patio doors onto an large external terrace and BBQ area. Here you can relax on sunloungers, enjoy the sunshine and your own heated pool. Please note the pool is both electrically and solar heated to ensure it is always at the right temperature. The patio area is a fully enclosed area to add to your privacy and security. The patio surrounds and garden is fully planted with colourful plants and shrubs.
The master bedroom comprises of a king size bed and has an en-suite bathroom/shower. The second bedroom has twin beds, both bedrooms have built in wardrobes with plenty of storage space. The main bathroom has a walk in shower area. The villa has marble flooring throughout and is built to a very high standard. Both bedrooms are fitted with heating and Air Conditioning, which is a major benefit during the cooler winter or warm summer nights.
The villa is close to the centre of the development and has views of the large communal pool area where you can enjoy the use of a much larger pool and sun terrace.
The villa has a major benefit of being on a secure development. The entrances to the site are fitted with motorised gates that help keep the villas private. This security is only available on a very small number of developments on the island.
This is a great family villa which we are sure you will enjoy. The villa is based on a residential development and is not suitable for those seeking a noisy nightlife. There is parking space right outside the front of the villa.
A free welcome pack is supplied, including tea, coffee, wine and water.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Owner's Tips
Playa Blanca has a great selection of shops and restaurants and is probably the most family orientated of all Lanzarote resorts.
The Playa Flamingo beach is only a short drive away and is great for families. Playa Dorada is the largest beach located near the town centre where you are able to do a number of watersport activities. The famous Papagayo beaches are about 15 mins drive away but well worth a visit. A short walk away there is a selection of small convenience stores and cafe/bars available, along with a few restaurants, that would cater for most of your holiday essentials and english newspapers. The spectacular coastline is a short distance from the villa and is a must visit item during your stay.
We recommend car hire during your stay but there is a good local bus service that picks up close to the development and runs from 6.30am and every half hour until 11pm to the centre of Playa Blanca. Taxis are also readily available if required.

“Lovely villa, nicely decorated with well equipped kitchen etc. Pool was fantastic, my family and I really enjoyed the privacy of a pool for our sole use and it was lovely and warm!
We loved the location as we prefer not to be in resort centres, however, a car is a must if you are to get the most out of your stay. Information provided in the villa was really useful, i.e directions to the best supermarket, best beach and other places of interest.
Our dealings with Alison were so easy and we would love to book this villa again in the future. Thank you”

“We enjoyed our stay and the villa was perfect for the two of us - it would also suit four, we do like a bit of space!
The pool was lovely, and a perfect temperature, outside furniture and space good, it was a pity the garden wall was low and the garden overlooked from the next road (very little used) and a neighbouring kitchen. Some of the other villas had more privacy. Furniture is tasteful and comfortable, bedroom storage excellent, bathrooms both very good, good TV and broadband.
We found the indoor dining space - a small breakfast bar -barely adequate, as it was too cool to eat outside in the evenings during our February stay. The only other slight gripe with the villa was the quality of the bed linen, but it was changed during our ten-day stay, and the management company and pool maintenance were excellent.
It was quite cold sometimes at night and we had to "borrow" an extra duvet - with all beds in use this would not have been possible - spare blankets would be a nice idea.
Although La Goleta itself is very pleasant, we were a bit disappointed with the location -it is rather in a wilderness of failed and half-finished developments,”
Owner's response: Thank you for your review. We would like to add that the air-conditioning units in the bedrooms are also heaters as detailed in the information pack. All linen is periodically reviewed and replaced if necessary however we will review following your comment.

“We stayed for a week from 9th Oct 12 and I must say the minute we walked through the door we fell in love with this villa... It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, wine & water was very thoughtful. It was so peaceful & relaxing, we didn't want to leave!! We were so pleased we did hire a car as it was a walk & half to get into town & having the car made us explore a little further too.
Alison (the owner) was so helpful & replied quickly to any mails or queries we had and the directions to the villa were spot on, we didn't go wrong at all..!!
We will defiantly be coming back to stay... for 10 days next time!!

“An excellent villa. This is the 10th time we have stayed in a villa in Playa Blanca and it was the best one ever. The air con in the bedroom was excellent because it was very hot in the villa overnight. The management team were brilliant and the number of times the villa was cleaned and towels and bedding changed was amazing. Plan to stay there again in the future.”
