About the property

Casa Amatris is perfectly situated in the quiet sought after area of Montana Roja, a short walk to a choice of quality supermarkets, restaurants and the gently sloping golden sands of Playa Flamingo beach.The villa is in the most superb location with the backdrop of Red Volcano mountain and magnificent sea views.

The property has a private, 8 x 4mtr (26'x13') solar and electrically heated swimming pool, possibly unique to this property is the safety cover, custom made for the pool. If you have children in your party (or any non swimmers) the cover, which is very quickly and easily wound into place, runs on rails along the top edge of the pool and will support the weight of an adult falling onto it, conventional covers aren't supported in any way.This ensures total peace of mind that when the pool is not in use and the cover is fitted the garden is a safer place to play.There is plenty of terrace around the pool for sunbathing, sun loungers and a table and chairs for 6 are provided. There is a shaded veranda which overlooks the pool and the extensive gardens with a wide variety of very beautiful and exotic plants

Inside, all the bedrooms and kitchen lead from the lounge and dining areas, with patio doors in the lounge and master bedroom overlooking the pool and terrace. All aspects of this new house have been finished to a very high standard, the luxury kitchen has granite work tops, a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob, full size oven and a washing machine. The lounge offers a sofa bed for larger parties (can sleep up to 8) satellite TV, DVD and CD player.

This property can be booked with its neighbour (villa number 4760) thus providing two adjacent villas, each with a pool, that could accommodate a party of up to 12 in comfort.

Included in the rental is a welcome pack consisting of water, milk, fruit juice, sugar. tea and coffee.

There is also a high chair and travel cot in the villa for our younger guests; we do not charge any extra for these but you will need to provide your own cot linen.

The swimming pool is solar heated, which for a majority of the year is fine. However during the cooler months (December to March) we would recommend using the electric heating system which will maintain the pool at 27/28 degrees. There is an additional charge of £50 per week for this.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
