Casa Catalina and Casa Lisa are two self-contained, identical properties on the prestigious Vistas del Mar development. Each with its own private heated pool with superb views of the Atlantic Ocean and the distant volcanoes.
Casa Catalina and Casa Lisa both have: master bedroom with double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds. The main bathroom has with shower-over-bath. The fitted kitchen has marble work surfaces, oven / hob, microwave, fridge / freezer washing machine and a full inventory of crockery and equipment. Open plan living room with breakfast bar, dining table, sofas, satellite T.V, DVD and CD/tape player. Our Managers provide a welcome pack with tea, coffee, wine, biscuits and bottled water to help you settle in and relax after your journey. Free internet access - Wi-fi now installed.
Patio doors lead to an outdoor dining terrace which is partially shaded by a pergola to allow you to dine al-fresco in comfort. Steps, which are gated for child saftey, descend to a large lower terrace and a private heated swimming pool with sun loungers and large parasol. Another set of patio doors lead from the master bedroom to the terrace.
Our two properties here are normally booked individually. However if two families wish to go on holiday together it is a great idea to book both bungalows as they are only a minute's walk apart. Casa Lisa and Casa Catalina and all other Vistas del Mar properties are completely separate from each other within a secure gated development. There are no shared facilities - you have your own front door, your own pool and terraces - separated from other properties by high white-washed walls.

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
Vistas del Mar is built into a hillside a few roads back from the sea-front. For a holiday combining poolside with beach, there's no need to hire a car as there are plently of coach, excursions available. However it is a good idea to have a car at least for a few days if you wish to experience Lanzarote's spectacular landscape and fascinating cultural heritage.
Car hire may be also appropriate if you have limited mobility as there are some slopes from the beach and the town.
Flights: to coincide with most British charter flights, most bookings usually run from Thursday to Thursday. However in recent years airlines have introduced more flight days so we now arrange bookings from any day of the week whenever our letting calender allows.
We can help you arrange your flights and optional car hire (parking is easy at Vistas del Mar).

“Excellent villa, The management team out there are very helpful. The pool was cleaned regulary, and we recieved lots of clean towels. The villa had everything we could possibly have needed and finding basic food supplies in the fridge on arrival was a lovely touch. The lady from the management team booked us a taxi for our departure and arranged a villa for us to spend our final afternoon is as we had a late flight and people where booked into our villa. We will definatley be returning, sooner rather than later.
Maps and information booklets in the villa made it easy for us to get familiar with Puerto del carmen. The villa was nice and private and very secure.
Thanks”

“The villa, location and facilities were excellent. We were within walking distance to all bars, resturants and beach. We were there during some exceptionally warm weather and the only improvement we would suggest is air conditioning. We really enjoyed our stay and would definately return.”
Owner's response: We're grateful to Jo for her comments. The old name for the Canary Islands was "The Fortunate Islands" due to the Alantic climate being warm in winter but slightly cooler in the high summer than Mainland Spain. For this reason air conditioning is not widespread. Jo was in Lanzarote during an exceptionally hot week when even the locals were talking about the weather!
