This spacious cottage with private pool, has been built in the traditional style of las Alpujarras with a dovecote in the grounds, though the doves have flown!
Outside the large patio with barbecue, table and chairs provides a lovely place to eat, overlooking the attractive grounds of fruit trees with the mountains as a backdrop. Going inside the cottage the front door opens on to the hallway, to one side is the double bedroom with ensuite shower room, wardrobe, chest of drawers and windows looking south over the grounds. There's a family bathroom off the hallway with wc, basin, walk-in shower and washing machine.
Through the archway to the left of the front door is the bright, wood beamed living room, with wood burner, comfortable seating, dining table, chairs, book shelves with books, games & CD player and serving area looking into the kitchen.
We provide a "welcome pack" of bread, butter, jam, eggs, milk, water and wine, plus there are condiments in the kitchen and toilet rolls in the bathrooms.
The kitchen is well-equipped, it has an electric oven and hobs, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, granite work tops and a door leading out to the patio.
The second bedroom has twin beds, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Plus a fold away bed for a 5th small person. The cottage is insulated and suitable for all year round holidays. We provide fans for the summer and bedroom heaters for the winter and of course there is the wood burner in the living room.
The private swimming pool is set amidst almond and olive trees and from the sunbathing terraces you have lovely mountain views. Sit there at sunset with a glass of wine and watch the mountain colours change as the sunsets, magical! The tear-drop shaped pool is 1.4m deep and approx. 9m x 5m at its largest, it is filtered and kept clean by the use of an ionizer so very little chlorine is used. There are sun loungers and parasols.
All linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own towels for the pool or beach. Well behaved pets may be accepted, please enquire. Granada is the nearest airport just an hour away and Malaga airport is under 2 hours.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit the historic city of Granada and the Alhambra just an hour away; as well as the lovely mountain villages. In spring and autumn it's an ideal area for country walks when the flowers are at their best, the birds sing and the sun usually shines.
