Description About the property

The approach to the property is on a private estate road through large iron gates. An attractive high wall which forms a courtyard with a fountain, protects the front of the house which is on three levels.

The upper floor contains three large, individually designed double bedrooms all with distant sea views, en-suite bathrooms and ample wardrobe space. The master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and two dressing rooms.

The middle floor leads to a rustic style sitting room with an open fire place which, in turn, leads to the formal dining room. There is a second family room currently used as a library/bar and opening onto a terrace.

The kitchen is a paradox of country style and contemporary comfort, well equipped and opening onto a terracotta tiled terrace room, ideal for al fresco or casual dining.

The lower floor is a self-contained apartment with a bedroom, living/dining room, kitchen and bathroom. This opens onto the large swimming pool, garden and terrace area.

Many of the rooms have ceiling fans and there is air conditioning in two bedrooms.

Maid service, a gardener and a pool man are included. Linen and towels are provided. Sky satellite TV is installed and there are several TVs also a DVD and CD player.

Despite the fact that San Pedro is part of the municipality of Marbella, it has quite a different feel about it. Workers from the nearby sugar cane and cotton plantations once lived here, however these days you would never believe it. Nowadays there is still an old feel about San Pedro, although it is growing into a large resort with many modern facilities.

El Madroņal is a prestigious, secure, gated community with many fine houses and villas standing on its hillsides. It is just a few minutes drive from Puerto Banus, Marbella and Estepona and near to San Pedro and its beaches. There is nearby access to the toll road and Malaga and Gibraltar airports.

There are several popular restaurants nearby including El Coto, La Casita, Taberna del Alaberdero, Los Arqueros and El Gamonal. Several golf courses are within a few minutes driving distance and there is a tennis club in El Madroņal.
