About the property

Situated in the countryside just 5.5kms from the village of Campos and 11kms from the beautiful beach at Playa Des Trenc in the south east of the island this traditional stone villa boasts a very impressive, large, new pool. Sun terraces and fruit trees surround the 12m x 6m pool which has roman steps.

Entrance is into a compact living room with fireplace that leads to large dining room with refectory table that leads out to the olive tree sheltered terrace and on to the pool. Modern large kitchen with dishwasher and separate pantry. Washing machine.

On the ground floor are two small bedrooms, one with a double bed the other with twin singles. Modern bathroom. On the first floor is a salon for relaxing, one twin bedroom and a double bedroom with further new bedroom. 5th bedroom with twin beds.

About Cala d'Or, Majorca

Famous for being discovered by a group of artists in the 1930's, Cala d'Or is a lively area surrounded by pine-covered headlands and whitewashed buildings. In days gone by the harbour area was filled with boats bobbing on the waters, these days you are more likely to see the "chic" Cala d'Or marina surrounded by waterfront bars.

The nearby village of Porto Petro is a lot more traditional than Cala d'Or; it has a pretty port with many great fish restaurants serving the catch of the day. Not surprisingly, Cala d'Or has some of the best shops on Mallorca, with leather shops and chic boutiques where you can often find designer clothes at reasonable prices. If you find yourself with nothing to do on a Sunday, then go to Felanitx market where you can buy some local pottery and authentic local crafts.

Esmeralda Garden apartments in Cala d'Or and Las Rocas apartments are popular complexes, being located near to the beach and a good range of restaurants.
