Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Within a short walk from the villa is the fabulous Marina Rubicon with its own shops and restaurants.. Views around the Marina are truely spectacular. We are a short walk from beaches and a wide range of restaurants.
You can walk or drive to some of the best beaches in the Canary Islands namely Dorada beach which is yellow and highly popular (7 minutes walk) and the famous Papagayo beaches a little further. There is a lovely walk along the sea front to Los Colorados or another walk around the Marina Rubicon.
The town is a short drive or walk away where there are some 70 available high quatity restaurants and a variety of shops to choose from.
As an introduction to me Phil and my partner Dawn, we are both self confessed lovers of Lanzarote and first visitied the Island in 1992 staying in a local hotel but then discovered the delights of Dorada beach and the Papagayo. Phil and Dawn live in Essex and both like to enjoy life but also take work pretty seriously. Our view is that both our villas are kept at a very high standard and nothing less will be good enough.
Dawn is a lover of horses, she rides one called Magic 3 times a week and Phil is a keen cyclist and rode to Paris recently for the British legion, he also enjoys Scuba diving and both of us enjoy to ski once a year.
We are happy only when our clients are happy and we place a high value on the service levels we provide and this is helped in no small part by our team in Lanzarote.
What we love about our property
We first discovered the Marina Rubicon whilst visiting the Dorada beach which was then under construction. We were amazed that there was one villa available for sale which had imposing views of the Marina Rubicon, was just 150 meters behind the Marina Rubicon and because it was on the end had a really big garden with pool and was very private. Having snapped up this 2 bed property we bought every type of cactus possible from youngsters and also planted some young palms along with flowering plants. It was a great opportunity to buy modern and expensive furnishings to suit this contemporary villa. The plants have now grown in this big garden and the villa is so popular that it is usually fully booked. So good was our first villa that we purcheased a 3 bed villa in 2007 and that is doing really well as well. The success of the villa is not about plants and furnishings only but about clean and very well supported villas that we can tell you we are proud of! Don't just read this come along and see for yourself.
Year we bought the property: 2003

“Hola! We've had a super, relaxing holiday in your lovely villa and thought you may like some feedback. Firstly, we loved Marina View - it is so spacious yet homely, and your little touches really help to make it comfortable. We particularly appreciated arriving to find tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water for that much needed cuppa! Also, I always take with me things like washing up cloths and liquid, tea towel, pegs, so was delighted to find you had been thoughtful enough to supply these items. The pool/beach towel rental is a great idea! We made very good use of the pool which we covered every evening, and you are quite right, it stayed lovely and warm for the next day.
The resort itself (which we have visited before) was remarkably quiet on our first five days which was lovely. We also had no neighbours so all was extremely peaceful.
Thank you so much for all your efforts in making Marina View such a welcoming and comfortable place to holiday. We (all four) really enjoyed our stay!”
Owner's response: Thanks and do come again!

“The villa was in a great location, being only a five minute walk from the lovely Marina, and a 15 minute walk from the centre of Playa Blanca, and yet it was lovely, quiet and secluded.
I also said that we really appreciated that there was almost everything that we could ever need to use and cook in the kitchen.”
Owner's response: Your comments are most appreciated.

“From the time of booking the villa I was very happy with the service received - Phil was very helpful in answering any questions I may have had and when the information pack arrived it had all you needed to know.
Once we arrived at the villa we were very impressed, the location was perfect for being very close by to everything you need but at the same time it was also very peaceful.
The villa was very clean and well presented and had everything needed. The garden is lovely and we spent all day sunning ourselves there and relaxing in the pool, until the early evening when we watched the sun go down.
When Debs arrived for the midweek towel change and pool clean she was very happy to answer our questions about the area and make sure that we were happy with our stay and book a taxi for us for our return journey.
I would happily return to this villa and have already recommended it to friends and family, if you want somewhere relaxing with everything you need in the villa and with bars/shops and restaurants close by then this villa is perfect”
Owner's response: Good on you Serena
