About the property

Our spacious modern first floor apartment is a home from home situated on a private sea front community.We have a large private detached terrace offering you wonderful sea & pool views with all day sunshine. Have breakfast watching the sun come up! The terrace is furnished with a patio table, two chairs, two comfortable relaxer chairs and two sunbeds.

A welcome pack is provided including tea, coffee, milk, sugar/sweetener and bottled water to ensure a refreshing cuppa whilst you unpack.

We have a large airy twin bedroom, with fitted wardrobes and a safe. The full bath/shower room has twin basins (please note there will be a walk-in shower with drying area but no bath from April 2010) and all linen and towels are provided. For little ones we have a travel cot and can arrange a full size cot and high chair. Fans and heaters are provided for your comfort.

Our modern open plan kitchen/lounge comes complete with fridge,microwave and electric oven/full size ceramic hob, kettle, toaster,cafetiere and all the usual utensils, crockery and glassware. For days out we have a picnic set & cooler bag. Ample dining is provided with seating at the granite topped breakfast bar.

The light and spacious lounge has 2 sofas with sprung mattress beds and wardrobe storage which provides comfortable accommodation for 2 more persons.

Our TV has BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 & Channel 5. A DVD player, radio/CD, hairdryer, iron, ironing board & sewing kit, games, tennis rackets and balls, books, CD's & DVD's are provided for your use.

A smoke detector, fire blanket, fire extinguisher & first aid kit are within the apartment for your safety.

We also have the added benefit of a property manager on call 24 hrs / 365 days in the unlikely event that you have any problems during your holiday.

Las Coronas complex is set in delightful well maintained grounds and has one large pool,one children's and one paddling pool (no lifeguard) with a plentiful supply of sunbeds around the terraces.The sea front is located 250m away and can be reached by a private gate from the complex, which leads to the promenade linking the beaches of the Costa Teguise coastline.

About Costa Teguise, Lanzarote

Playa de las Cucharas, Costa Teguise

Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island, with big luxury hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated. As well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are many other waterfront areas to choose from.

If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, a golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools. Open daily from 10am – 6pm.

There are many restaurants in Costa Teguise where the locals welcome those with children, don't be surprised if they are given sweets at the end of a meal!

Owner's Tips...

The pool bar serves snacks and has satellite TV showing UK major football programmes.There is also a superb restaurant, a tennis court, sports cafe,hire car and bank facility on the complex.

Several other bars, tavernas, tapas & restaurants, shops, bank & gym are all very closby. Our apartment is 2km from the golf course and 20 minutes walk from the aquapark.

Transfer time from Arrecife airport is approx 15 minutes and a taxi costs approx 18 euros. The Playa Bastian area of Costa Teguise offers the best of all worlds, the area is very quiet with some excellent restaurants offering traditional Spanish tapas, fine French, Italian, Chinese, German, Lebanese & English cuisine. For those who desire more lively nightlife it is only a 2 -3 euro taxi ride or 15 -20 minute walk from the apartment to the Playa Jabillilo and Playa Cucharas main resort areas.

About us

Hi there and thanks for looking at our property Las Coronas10.

We are Veronica and Les Fegan and live in the North East of England in North Yorkshire. We have two sons and two lovely granddaughters. As we are both still working we have limited annual holidays, hence we rent out our holiday home to help towards the running costs. When we do retire we are looking forward to many more happy relaxing weeks at Las Coronas.

What we love about our property

When we searched for a holiday home we had specific requirements; all year sunshine, a sea view, a quiet location, but with all amenities within walking distance and our apartment at Las Coronas fits this brief exactly.

As it is our holiday home we keep it just like home - infact one of our friends said we have more glasses in our apartment kitchen than she has in her own home! Most of our guests are return visitors who like us have fallen for the charms of the view, location, climate and facilties both within the apartment and the local area.

Common feedback from guests who have stayed at our apartment has been how clean our property managers keep it for us and that it doesn't feel like a holiday- let but a real home from home - their return visits are testament to this.

“We have stayed several times in this apartment which is ideally located with stunning views over the ocean and is ideally located for access to bars,restaurants,supermarkets etc.It is five minutes walk to the nearest beach and a fifteen minutes stroll to Costa Tegiuse town centre.
The apartment is fully equipped with everyhing necessary for an enjoyable stay.”

“We had a wonderful week in Lanzarote. The weather was a little disappointing as we had quite a bit of rain, but we managed to visit most of the places we wanted to see. The apartment was excellent and lived up to expectations. We were particularly impressed by its location - very close to the sea and with several very decent restaurants within a couple of minutes' walk. It also seemed to be in a nice part of Costa Teguise - the centre looked tacky in comparison. The only negative was the TV reception - mostly poor and frequently unwatchable. Still, hardly a dealbreaker. And the umbrellas came in handy!

I don't suppose we will be coming back to Lanzarote in the near future - we always like to visit new places - but we would definitely recommend your apartment to any friends who are interested in going there.”

“I have been to this appartment for the last 5 years (at least twice a year, sometimes 3). It is relaxing with a private balcony and very quiet. Quite a few restaurants nearby and a 10 minute walk to others. I would recommend this to anyone.
