Glan-y-Mor is located on its own plot, and is decorated to a very high standard -perfect for self-catering holidays. The Faro Park villas feature 2 bedrooms, 1 double ensuite, 1 separate twin and separate shower, fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, fridge-freezer and microwave. The spacious living room features a TV, stereo and comfortable funishings. This leads out onto a large terrace, which also has a dining area and separate wash room. This particular villa offers its own Private Heated Pool.

Faro Park is a new development located near to the lighthouse and the proposed golf course to the west of Playa Blanca village. It is situated approx. 3km from the village centre, so car hire is definately required. The complex itself consists of 100 detached properties, all slightly different, and all finished to a very high standard of workmanship. The complex also features a large communal swimming pool, and sun terrace area. A small selection of bars and shops are within walking distance of the complex. The surrounding coastline is littered with small rock pools and caves, and is a fabulous area to explore. The nearest beach at the Calimeira Hotel is approx half a kilometre away. If you are looking for quality accommodation and are going to hire a car, Faro Park should be your choice.

For guests staying longer than one week, there will be a thorough clean, including sheet and towel change, halfway through your stay.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
