About Casa Alana

Great for just 2 persons or the whole family There is a large living and dining area with patio doors leading to a large heated pool and an extensive sun terrace which is furnished with cushioned sun-loungers and large dining table and chairs for al-fresco dining A Seagul lV American water purifier is installed no more buying and carrying water bottles pure sweet & safe drinking water English satellite TV with Sky news cartoons movies DVD player with a selection of 2010/11 movies (30+) The whole villa is double glazed and is cool in the summer The spacious open-plan living area is furnished to a high standard. There is internet available at the villa for emails and browsing the web. please bring your own laptop.

There is a Movistar dongle at the villa, because not all guests require this service, there is a £15.00 charge per week for continuous connection. Please let me know at the time of booking if you require this service.

There is a commercial centre just down the road, with a big supermarket that has one of the best meat and fish sections.Outside is a free Internet connection for Laptops. Nice bar/cafe showing premier league and Rugby football. Swings & playground for children, next to the cafe.

The marina of Puerto Rubicon with its restaurants, shops, bowling alley and super yachts is approx 2.5kms away, and just a few minutes more walking and you are in Playa Blanca

The master bedroom has en-suite facilites with corner bath, shower and twin vanity basins. Patio doors lead to the sun terrace. There are a further two twin bedrooms and separate bathroom, also with twin vanity basins.

The very modern kitchen is fully equipped including a dish washer. There is a separate utility room with automatic washing machine and drying facilities.

This villa's pool is 100% secluded and private and is suitable for Naturists.

Feel secure: I am on the island in case you or your family need asistance with "accidents, illness, misshaps advice - whatever!" there is someone to help you immediately!

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Great golf course, 33% discount at the best golf course on the island for my guests. Close to jet ski's Parascending, pedaloes. Best beaches on Lanzarote are very close.

“Just returned from two blissfully peaceful weeks at Casa Alana. If you are looking for a relaxing villa within walking distance of great amenities this offers the best of both worlds and we can highly recommend it. The villa is located in a fabulous position looking out over the sea to Furterventura and across to the mountains. We ate all of our meals al fresco to enjoy the wonderful views.

Casa Alana has all you need to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Three large bedrooms, two good bathrooms with his and hers basins, a drying room, a well equipped kitchen and lounge. The owner has furnished it like a home rather than a holiday villa. He has thought of everything even down to providing lots of good books and a large collection of movies for all the family. The Roper Supermarket is within walking distance and has a wide selection of fresh fish, meats and wine. Outside the supermarket are two pizza bars, and two sports bars. The play park is excellent for the children with a 'death' slide and lots of other equipment. Marina Rubicon is a 20 minute walk along the sea front with Playa Blanca a further 20 minutes. Great cocktails at Global House. Along the walk there a number of lovely places to have a cocktail to break the walk. There is also a small golf range, cycle hire and a couple of beaches within walking distance. Papagayo beaches are definately worth a visit and all the walks are manageable however you can take the car if you'd prefer.

Keith the owner is extremely helpful and friendly, he arranged our car hire. Let him arrange your car hire, his recommendations offer good quality, clean and reliable cars. I have stayed at many villas in Spain and Lanzarote and this is the best by far. Great value for money, a great pitch, clean safe pool with wonderful views. In the two weeks we stayed there we never heard a neighbour and could have been miles from the nearest person. We had a fantastic two weeks and will definately return. We've already recommended it to lots of our friends. What more can we say ...book it now, you'll love it.”

“A very good villa, very much recommended. The description and the comments from the other guests say it all already. It is very quiet and peaceful, but still in town. Villa and grounds are very big in size, high up in town, with wonderful views to everywhere (town, mountains, sea, middle of Fuerteventura e.g.), certainly one of the best, biggest, most private estates in Playa Blanca. (No comparison with the regular walled side by side parcel houses elsewhere I think. Have a look at the google satellite picture of the house / area, or look at it on bing maps or google earth in 3d).
Las Coloradas is also very nice, quiet and luxurious, and really near to the beautyful Papagayo beaches. I spent 10 days without a car there without any problems, walking is always nice there and the town bus runs very convenient every half hour. Very nice seafront promenade in Las Coloradas and Rubicon. Two very good supermarkets around (Roper and HyperDino), some (pretty empty) shopping centers, four and five star hotels one can visit. Great area.
I would really like to come again and, as mentioned before, really recommend this house.”

“Super villa with a nice pool, in a quiet and private location. If you want a peaceful break just a short drive from the bars and restaurants of Playa Blanca this is the place. Rubicon marina and Papagayo beaches are within reasonable walking distance, about 30mins. On the other hand with so many films on DVD and such a comfortable base, why not stay in and enjoy the facilities and panoramic views across to Fuerteventura.
As for the owner, I doubt that you will meet a more helpful, obliging and friendly host.
We will return!”

“This is a very good villa where we intend to stay again. It is well equipped for 6 people with space inside and out. The large terrace has good views over the urbanisation to the sea and Fuerteventura, but is not overlooked. The excellent Roper food supermarket is less than 10 minutes walk away but you will need to go to the big supermarkets for household items (which you will need). From the sea front you can walk to the Papagayo beaches one way and the marina the other way, each in less than 30 minutes.
Couple of niggles though. The TV and DVD player are hopeless. The directions to get there are also hopeless – here are some tips to find it. There is no sign on the main road to Las Coloradas – follow instead the Roper supermarket sign to find the turn specified in the directions. Alternatively take the next right which is the road that the villa is on – after a few turns in the road the villa is on the right, just after the turn to Papagayo goes off to the left. Or use Google Maps and location 28.865624,-13.796811.”
