This elegant and tranquil mountain valley complex is only 3 minutes away from Iznajar Lakes and 45 minutes from Malaga Airport and within easy access of Malaga, Granada, Cordoba, Marbella, Seville and Costa-del-Sol. Enjoy a taste of "the Real Spain" close to the picturesque "Pueblo Blanco" (White Town) of Iznajar, perched beside the spectacular aquamarine Lake of Andalucia.

Our three rental villas make Cortijo Las Olivas a very special place offering outstanding self-service accommodation in a peaceful setting. We have spellbinding panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, colourful and tranquil Mediterranean style rose gardens and a mountain spring water swimming pool, providing that special vacation destination for either a restful holiday, or a base from which to explore the many treasures that Andalucia has to offer.

The owners take great pride in the outside areas of Cortijo Las Olivas, and over the years have worked hard to design and cultivate a beautiful Mediterranean Rose Garden which is a stunning rainbow of colour for most of the year round, complete with Orange trees, lemon trees and grape vines. Nestled within the Rose Gardens is a sun terrace complete with dining area, pool table, brick built Barbecue and bar. There is a refrigerator unit for guests to chill their drinks.

The Villas also share a very large 10x5 swimming pool which is fed by underwater mountain spring water. Possibly the cleanest and freshest swim you will ever have. Surrounding the pool is a large sun terrace where you can relax on the sun loungers provided and shaded areas for relief from the Spanish sun. The pool area also includes an outdoor shower

In addition, each villa has its own private dining patio. The Finca also has its own balcony with seating.

Cortijo Las Olivas is a great location for star gazers! There is no light pollution at Cortijo Las Olivas and on a clear night, which is most nights, you will see the satellites, the international space station, shooting stars and the Milky Way in all it's magnificent glory!

The welcome pack includes basic necessities so you dont have to run straight out to the shops, and a bottle of wine courtesy of the Issa family.

About us
After a long hospitality career in England, Mandy and Jess wound up their successful business in the UK and traded it in for the dream life in one of Spain’s most idyllic and stunning areas... Andalucia. They now run Cortijo Las Olivas to an exceptional standard and welcome holiday makers from all over the world to use their beautiful set of Spanish Villas as a peaceful and beautiful base for local exploration. Mandy and Jess and their daughter Lianne are incredibly happy to help with any questions you may have and are always there with a helpful hand for any local information you may need.

What we love about our property
Mandy and Jess moved to Iznajar due to its fantastic central location upon Iznajar's famous Aquamarine lakes. The lakes are a fantastic substitution for the Malaga beaches, where life moves at a different pace. yet Malaga is still within easy driving distance for the family. It helps that the weather is beautiful for 90% of the year! a stark contrast to England.

The property is situated right at the centre of the three provinces of Malaga, Cordoba and Granada and provides a great base for exploration of these fantastic, historic areas. The nearest town is Iznajar which sits atop a stunning waterside hill. The local cuisine is traditional Spanish with the option now and then of something a little more familiar. The lakes are a 3 minute drive away and there are several beaches within easy access that provide a great days entertainment in the aquamarine waters. Another benefit of living in Iznajar are the awe inspiring night skies. There is no light pollution at Cortijo Las Olivas and on a clear night, which is most nights, you will see the satellites, the international space station, shooting stars and the Milky Way in all it's magnificent glory!
