We enjoyed the calm atmosphere of the El Valle Golf resort. Great villa and pool, very well stocked and reasonably priced on-site supermarket. The clubhouse and A La Carte

Restaurant serve delicious food which we enjoyed along with the great panoramic vista their position offers.

Happily the region is still very 'Spanish' and very visitor friendly and accessible. We found that there were beaches in the Murcia region to suit everyone, from the Mar Menor and its opportunities for water sports to the unspoilt quieter beaches such as San Pedro Del Pinatar. Oh and we discovered the shops in the great air-conditioned shopping centre in San Pedro !
