We have had a fun time here the food was lovely and the wather sunny. I really liked the camel ride that we wnto to near the volcane at Parque Nacional de Timanfaya. I also enjoyed going to the beach near Orzola and played in the waves.

We really had a relaxing time in Punta Mujeres and have eated locally 3 times which was very enjoyable. Phill has enjoyed lots of good mountain biking. For the most fantastic views visit Mirador del Rio.

We had a great week in this triplex in January. It was balmy with a mix of sun and clouds and was nice to be away from the crowds and commercialism of Costa Teguise and Playa Honda, Blanca, etc.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a little village, this could be the place for you. It is quite new, well maintained and with good furnishings. The owner even provided some of the basics for our arrival--coffee, milk, tea, olive oil, etc. We enjoy doing some of our own cooking, so having the kitchen helps. And there are plenty of bedrooms and baths. They also have bikes available, and it is near quite a few of Lanzarote's attractions. We would recommend having a car, but most places to go are no more than 30-45 minutes mximum, and the island is beautiful. The owner also provided information on local attractions, towns and restaurants, and had property caretaker available to us as well.

Swimming here is in tidal pools rather than beach, but beaches are nearby. The property is in a complex with 5 others, so in high season you may not have quite as much privacy, but it sure beats the mega resorts. Even though it may be more expensive than package deals to the big resorts, we found it perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Wow what a great location to stay in it was great to discover a part of Lanzarote which is not built up, we really enjoyed the house and Ping-pong table!
