The Costa Tropical covers the coastline in the province of Granada and is called so due the “tropical” climate that can be experienced here. The favoured climate is due to the protection of the Sierra Nevada mountain range that surrounds this region. On one hand you have fairly traditional seaside resorts like Solobreña that are brimming with activities for people of all ages. Then further along you will see stretches of rocky coastlines with deserted coves sheltered by steep cliffs. All of this adds to the excitement of taking a holiday in this region, it rather depends on what sort of holiday you are looking for, however the Costa Tropical has lots to offer.
