Quick guide to Roquetas de Mar
This lovely fishing town has become a great place to go on holiday. Around the town the remains of the old castle can be seen as well as the lighthouse. There are a number of fine, sandy beaches to choose from, including a naturist beach for those who are brave enough.
The resort is well served with buses, so you can explore a little further a field if you choose. There are plenty of nearby attractions to choose from, alternatively if you decide to stay in the resort itself, there are some tasty dishes to be had in the restaurants.
If you happen to be in Roquetas de Mar during the end of August, you may well like to join in the annual festival. There is lots of music and dance, including the famous flamenco.
