Research reveals difference between men and women on holiday

We're big fans of silly surveys and this one by MoneySupermarket.com provides invaluable insight into the holiday habits of Brits abroad. In a poll of 2000 travellers, they uncovered some amusing differences between male and female holiday habits.
1. Men like a drink
The headliner may not come as a big surprise but it turns out men spend 1/3rd more on booze than their female companions. Their beer bellies don't seem to bother them either, with 37% of men doing absolutely nothing to prepare their bodies for the beach (although 1% do get a bikini wax).
2. Women like a plan
Ladies spend a lot more time planning their holidays than men - in fact a whole four days more than their men.
Behaviour is rather different on arrival: While girls prefer lounging on the beach, men are likely to be more adventurous during their stay.
3. Stephen Fry rocks (David Cameron doesn't)
The ideal beach companion for ladies is Johnny Depp (boys - take note to pack a pirate outfit) and blokes would love to lounge on the beach with Holly Willoughby. At the opposite end of the scale, spare a thought for the PM who only got 2 votes... out of 2000.
The popular choice for both sexes was Stephen Fry who would be great at helping out with the big words in your beach book.
